How Can We Do This?

After completing 100's of Wind Mitigation Inspections over the past 2 years we have determined that most homes in our area qualify for some mitigation credits primarily because most homes in the Pensacola area had new roofs installed after the Hurricanes in 2004 & 2005. Therefore, the new roofs installed should automatically meet the 2001 Florida Building Code. Also, many homes in our area have other features such as hurricane clips, straps or wraps installed at original construction that reinforce the structure. Many homes have roof shapes that are resident to wind loads.
